1 Introduction The Ace Attorney Online systemenables anyone to easily create a trial. There are three components in the system. These are the following: Trials Manager The tool used to make new trials and access trials that you've made.
2 Trials Manager You can get to the Trials Manager from the Ace Attorney Online homepage. Click on “Play” in the navigation. Then, click on “Trials Manager” (the large brown button). To create a new trial, scroll to a heading that is called Create a new trial. In the text box, enter the name of the trial that you want to create.
In order to make your trial interactive, you'll have to use different actionsthat the game is able to execute. This is the most complex part of the editor, but it shouldn't be too difficult. Actions happen in a frame. They usually happen once the dialogue has finished typing out in the Trial Player.
This is played when the "Witness Testimony" button is pressed (only visible for characters in the "jud" position). This is played when the "Cross Examination" button is pressed (only visible for characters in the "jud" position).
Note: Attorney Online was remade as "AO2", released in february 2017. The terms AO and AO2 are used interchangeably in this document. You will most likely have AO2 (this can be checked if there is an "About" button in the top right corner of the lobby). When a clear distinction between versions 2 and 1 need to be made, the terms AO2 and AO1 are used.
Putting <preanim> = 0 in [Time] will make the gif play once at normal speed. (This is probably what you want)
This mirrors all your character gifs, so any character can take defense or prosecution role. To enable, simply check the "flip" checkbox (the checkbox will not be present if the server does not support this feature).

That changes with 2.3.2, however. For clients with version 2.3.2 or newer, desks can be used in the jud , hlp and hld positions as well. To make these appear, a "1" needs to be appended to the desired emote in the corresponding char.ini. For example:
