Engarde is notable for being one of only two clients of Wright's who was guilty of a crime for which he was arrested. His case gave Wright the only guilty verdict in his entire law career, while Wright earned the other client an acquittal.
Cykes said that he must have stubbed his toe on a CRT TV in the room, and saw in the photo that the TV had been dragged through the floor from the doorway to the back wall, as revealed by tracks in the flour scattered all over the floor.
Released in 2015 on the Nintendo 3DS, DGS takes place in early 1900s Japan and England, with the main character being Phoenix Wright's ancestor, Ryunosuke Naruhodo (Naruhodo is Wright's surname in the Japanese games). Since its release, there have been many theories as to why the game was never localized.
Matt is the first and, so far, the only defendant in the Ace Attorney franchise that was ultimately found genuinely guilty and earned a guilty verdict rightfully. Engarde is, so far, the youngest main antagonist in the Ace Attorney series.
Geiru is the first female Ace Attorney villain to be defeated by Athena, who had only defeated a male villain before that point.
Summary Clad in black and white, with hair to match, and approaching the bench in shackles, 28-year-old Simon Blackquill serves as the prosecutor for most of Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies even while he serves a prison term for murder.
Susato Mikotoba is also Naruhodou/Phoenix's ancestor. Ryuunosuke ends up marrying Susato some time during or after the series. She and Ryuunosuke both bear a resemblance to Wright and they both gesture with their pointer finger. Either that or Ryuunosuke married another woman.
Ryunosuke Naruhodo was an ancestor of Phoenix Wright who lived in Japan during the Meiji era. While he was a second year student at Imperial Yumei University, Naruhodo was put on trial for a murder he did not commit.

Mr. Phoenix Wright! The daughter of legendary prosecutor Manfred von Karma. Born and raised in Germany, she became a prosecutor at the age of 13, and hasn't lost a case since.
Kristoph Gavin was a renowned defense attorney with his own law firm, and the former boss and mentor of Apollo Justice. He was often called "the Coolest Defense in the West", referring to his ability to keep his cool during a trial. He was a special witness for the cases of the murders of Shadi Smith and Drew Misham.
He had then angrily hidden Woodman's puppet "Trilo Quist" in the room. However, he decided that Woodman had suffered enough and asked Wright and Maya to return Trilo to the ventriloquist. Finding Trilo shoved underneath a bookshelf and a nervous Woodman in the cafeteria, Wright and Maya reunited puppet and puppeteer.
Wright showed a furious von Karma the note that he had found inside the ringmaster's tailcoat pocket, explaining that Acro had written the note and placed it in Regina's pocket. However, Regina posted the note on the cafeteria bulletin board, not knowing what it was, eventually leading to Russell's murder.
Additionally, in the circus cafeteria, the magician had hit Woodman over the head on the morning of the day in which Russell was murdered.
According to Max Galactica, on the night of the murder, he went directly from the rehearsal in the Big Top to the ringmaster's office to meet with Russell Berry. After the ringmaster left to meet Acro at the lodging house plaza, Galactica remained in the office, unaware that anything was wrong until the police arrived.
Phoenix and Maya are led into Acro's room due to Money's theft of his attorney's badge, rather than for the retrieval of Regina's stage costume like in the games. The entirety of the love triangle subplot between Regina, Max, and Ben/Trilo has been removed.
Later that afternoon, Wright and Maya discussed the case in Wright's office. Maya admitted to having no idea how magic tricks work, even being fooled by Pearl showing her a trick whereby her thumb appeared to detach. After amazing Maya by performing the same trick, Wright headed for the detention center, with his naïve assistant in tow. Galactica greeted his visitors cheerfully, but begged them to hurry up and get him out, explaining that some people from a local television station were planning on having him star in a TV special entitled "Maximillion Galactica: The Great Prison Escape". Galactica would soon be forced to choose between his legal obligations and his show-business ones.

At the Berry Big Circus Entrance, Phoenix Wright, Maya Fey and an awestruck Pearl Fey talked about the show that they had just seen. Maya took Pearl home on the last train with Wright promising to clean his office for the New Year.
Considering the (likely working title) name given in the Capcom documents, Ace Attorney 7 is believed to be set after Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice, which came out in 2016. That involved us visiting the Kingdom of Khura'in, seeing the return of Maya Fey.
However, that same document also lists Great Ace Attorney for a Q1 2021 launch and that's now being released on July 27, 2021. As such, that falls within Q3. Considering many games have faced delays due to the global pandemic, it's not unreasonable to assume both might've faced issues.
Alternatively, Ace Attorney 7 could've been pushed back so it doesn't clash with Great Ace Attorney. Until Capcom officially confirms it though, we'll have to wait for further details.

The Ace Attorney Investigations spin-off series splits the gameplay into investigation phases and rebuttal phases , the latter of which is similar to the courtroom trials of the main series. During the investigation phases, the player searches for evidence and talks to witnesses and suspects. Things the player character notices in the environment are saved as thoughts; the player can use the "logic" system to connect two such thoughts to gain access to new information. At some points, the player can create hologram reproductions of the crime scene, through which they can discover new information that would otherwise be hidden. Ace Attorney Investigations 2 introduces "logic chess", where the player interrogates witnesses in a timed sequence that is visualized as a game of chess, with the player aiming to destroy the other character's chess pieces. To do this, they need to build up their advantage in the discussion by alternating between speaking and listening, and then choose to go on the offensive.

Ace Attorney is a series of adventure video game legal dramas developed by Capcom. The Ace Attorney series has been credited with helping to popularise visual novels in the Western world. Vice magazine credits the Ace Attorney series with popularising the visual novel mystery format, and notes that its success anticipated the resurgence of point-and-click adventure games as well as the international success of Japanese visual novels. According to Danganronpa director Kazutaka Kodaka, Ace Attorney ' s success in North America was due to how it distinguished itself from most visual novels with its gameplay mechanics, which Danganronpa later built upon and helped it also find success in North America.
For the purposes of this article, I have looked over each major Ace Attorney game and spinoff. Every game has its own details on when events take place, allowing them to be described on a case-by-case basis. If simply going through the games according to when they (mostly) take place, this would be the best order to go about it.
Trying to follow the games as they happen can be a little more than challenging, as you can see. Part of why the series is structured like this is to fill in some gaps, set up interesting plot threads, and provide simple tutorials that still allow fan-favorite characters to show up.
