However, upon arriving at the Grand Tower, Keyes stumbled upon Di-Jun Huang 's body double and Justine Courtney talking to one another on the roof. Fifteen years later, Larry would reveal that he was the one who stole Edgeworth's money that day, paying it back in full. While Wright is surprised, Edgeworth gives the appearance that he knew Larry stole his money all along.
The player controls Phoenix through two sets of sections: investigations and courtroom trials. During investigations they gather information and evidence. During trials they cross-examine witnesses, and answer questions from the judge, the prosecutor, and the witnesses. The story is split into five cases.

The relationship between Phoenix and Maya is extremely unique in that they are everything to each other. They were, after all, quite literally made for each other. Their perfect chemistry was carefully constructed by Shu Takumi to tell a story and no one can replace or replicate them.
