My favorite writer has been until recently John Grisham, especially his early books. I have just finished the book by Joseph Kafka "Lawyer for the Little Guy". It is a procedural but it is more about moral issues and family ties. The action takes place mainly in the courtroom as becomes a procedural but you can't put the book down.
